Disney Resort in Hawaii
I must be the last Disney fan to hear the news that Disney is planning on building a resort in Hawaii. I had read something about Disney-themed resorts around the country sometime last year but hadn’t heard anything since. I only discovered this Hawaii news yesterday when I was searching for an “Aloha Mickey” to match my “Aloha Minnie.” In case anybody else has missed this news, here’s a link to the Disney Blog.
My three favorite places on earth are Disney, Hawaii, and Las Vegas. It’s always a juggle when it comes to vacation plans – one reason we moved to Florida. But then we missed Hawaii and Las Vegas. So now that we’re living in Las Vegas and just 4 hours to Disneyland, we’ll reserve our big vacations for either WDW or Hawaii. How cool to get the feel of both in Hawaii.
A Disney Dream
Some of you may have found this blog because you know us from our Two4Disney blog on blogspot, which is no more. That blog was started when we moved from the west coast to Florida and made frequent trips to WDW. When we moved back west, we didn’t see a need for it anymore.
Well, guess what? Last night I had a dream that I should start another Disney blog. Obviously, planning our first trip back to Disneyland after living in Florida for almost 5 years was creating this desire. And since “a dream is a wish your heart makes,” well, I just had to do it. Since I now blog on wordpress, I created a brand new Two4Disney blog here.
Sitting here at my keyboard, listening to my 50 Year Anniversary CD of “A Musical History of Disneyland,” surrounded by Disney characters, typing this by the light of my Mickey Mouse lamp, I may as well confess: Disney makes me happy. So…
“To all who come to this happy place, welcome.”
